Mark M
the reason i ask is i have several pots of alclad that will prob get wasted as there is only a little bit in each but with the P-47 Gb i thought id mix them up and paint the whole airframe, they are all varying shades of aluminum and chrome, will it work? Shar2
Don't see why not. There was a similar question on Pistonheads and the answer seemed to be that you can mix the different lacquers.

Mike
I do it all the time... stops the differences between shades looking so severe

Miggers
I've done it too. Mixed Steel,Aluminium and Chrome to produce varying shades for my 1/16th Tiger's tracks. Another dodge with the stuff is to "barrier" the plastic with Kleer, that way you can paint wheel hubs, piston engine exhausts, what ever you fancy without a coat of suitable primer. Because Alclad is airbrushed, the thinners in the lacquer evaporates as it's sprayed and therefore doesn't react with the Kleer. Mark
