Paul J
Its not bad, But if you are NOT fussy about outline shape then the slightly too short and rounded tail fin might not bother you. Other shape areas Ok. Others here may well say otherwise. But hey for that price and if its for the GB have fun and build it.

Work In Progress
It's a very decent kit. It goes together well and you get lots of stores with it. It is probably number three after the Hasegawa and Tamiya kits, but all three are modern and highly respectable kits. On the table, a well built Academy P-47 does not look out of place alongside the other two. For that money it is an absolute steal. Academy decals tend to be pretty ropey but there is no aeroplane with a better selection of enticing aftermarket options than the P-47, so fill yer boots... SUNDON
I didn't have any major problems when I built mine but if I was you I'd spend the money I saved on the kit on some other decals because the kit ones are total rubish .Mine just fell apart when I tried to apply them. the South African
Ive built one of these about a year ago and if memory serves it was a fast and very fun build with no great fit issues. Regards: Shaun
