richellis
Norway Airlines Boeing 737-300 decal sheet. 1:144 decals from Lima November. Norway Airlines was formed in 1987 when they brought delivery slots for a pair of Boeing 737-300 airliners from AWAS. On delivery the Norwegian CAA hadn’t issued the required permits so both aircraft where leased out until early 1988 when Norway Airlines started services. Norway Airlines gained a contract with Air Europe to operate two aircraft in 1989 and this continued until 1991 when Air Europe went bankrupt. Norway Airlines then gained a contract with the Norwegian armed forces, and also took on some charter work. Norway Airlines closed in late 1992. This decal sheet will allow you to build either of Norway Airlines 737-300 airliners, on either the DACO or Minicraft kits. The 737s carried a couple of liveries, only one wore the full Norway Airlines livery, the second wore a hybrid livery with Air Europe/ Norway Airlines titles and cheat lines. Looking at the sheet you would be able to build LN-NOS in the full Norway Airlines livery, and by using some windows from the spares box the second airliner LN-NOR in the Air Europe (centre on the top picture) livery. As expected the decals are of a very high quality and include different windshields for the DACO and Minicraft kits. The instructions come over the usual A4 sheets with colour photos and diagrams. Conclusion Again another nice set from Lima November decals, they are a well printed quality set of decals. Good clear instructions and the options of being able to do 2 models from this sheet with some minor input from the base kit or spares box.
