hacker Posted August 19, 2011 Share Posted August 19, 2011 l want to buy the new tool Mk 1 spitfire from airfix but there is two versions, the first new issue the Mk I then there is the next issue the Mk !a/II is the two the same with the latter having an extra sprue for the Mk II? The wooksta V2.0 Posted August 19, 2011 Share Posted August 19, 2011 Yes. Also on the same sprue are the bits for an early mk I plus the oil cooler for a Va and new exhausts. I confidently predict that we'll get a Va next year but I'd be overjoyed if they did a Vc and relegated the one they did some years back to the bin. I don't know much about airfix new tools, except the the 1:48 mark XII, and seafire mk XVII are quite nice.
