Work In Progress Posted August 17, 2011 Share Posted August 17, 2011 They are supposed to be locked on the ground: it is part of the after-landing checklist and you only open them again as part of the vital actions before take-off. However, it's your model... They are usually exactly the same colour as the wing, and the part of the wing covered by the slats is not differentiated from the rest of the wing (it's a continuous fabric covering) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
