hacker
I found what l believe to be the last installment of a six part article in SAMI dealing with Japanese WW2 colours. It was in May 2000 Vol 6 issue 5. I would be interested in getting the other 5 parts to this. I would take either a good scan, photocopy or if you wish me to purchase those 5 mags l would be willing. Any help would be appreciated
Test Graham
You don't say whether you are filling a gap, or seeking enlightenment on the subject in general. If the latter, be warned that recently original Japanese colour charrts have been discovered, and enthusiasts are still in the process of re-evaluating what has been said before. The following sites may help (or confuse!): http://www.straggleresearch.com/ http://www.j-aircraft.org/smf/index.php http://arawasi.jp/salebook.hp/ara-magazine.html And of course the members of the IMPS UK SIG on Japanese aircraft. Some of Ian Baker's booklets have been available on the Red Roo site, and Mushroom Models used to have a stock. http://www.redroomodels.com/ http://www.mmpbooks.biz/mmp/index.php but I'm not sure about the current situation. It is just sort of like coming into a movie just at the end and got interested so you have to seek the DVD to get the rest of the story. But thanks for that info it will be interesting to hear the results of the revaluations. General l always thought that though they had specs for colour it was pretty much semi standards kept. BillyB
I can scan the articles you are looking for but it wont be quick as I can't find windows 7 drivers for my scanner and I'd need to dig out the relevant SAMI's. Regards, Bill....

BillyB
It's a Microtek Phantom 336CX USB but not to worry I'll just load XP onto another HDD and that should do the trick. Regards, Bill...
