JohnT
According to Cybermodeller web site it looks like being a new tool Raiden in 1/32 soon. Looks interesting and might look quite nice against a Tamiya 1/32 Pacific Theatre P51 ? Sorry if this is "old news" http://www.cybermodeler.com/news/hasegawa.shtml JohnT PS How did they "lose the original mouldings in a shipwreck"??????? Jon Kunac-Tabinor
According to Cybermodeller web site it looks like being a new tool Raiden in 1/32 soon. Looks interesting and might look quite nice against a Tamiya 1/32 Pacific Theatre P51 ?Sorry if this is "old news" http://www.cybermodeler.com/news/hasegawa.shtml JohnT PS How did they "lose the original mouldings in a shipwreck"??????? Hi John - A 1/32 Raiden was originally released by Revell in the late 60s/early 70s ( together with a KI-61 and an N1K1-J). After a few runs the moulds were being shipped by sea to another country when the ship was lost. Ergo the moulds went to see Davy Jones, and these 3 kits have been rare as ever since fetching pretty high prices for pretty basic models . With the release of the Raiden, and its previous Ki61 Hasegawa are finally consigning the Revell models to the kit-collectors market. I bet we'll see a Shiden in a few years form them too. cheers Jonners
JohnT
Thanks for that Jonners. I did wonder if "shipwreck" was a euphamism for some other catastrophe but it really was a shipwreck. Suspect you are right about the shiden.
