CTjockey
Hi all, digging through my father's old picture box recently and I found this photo. Afraid I don't know too much about it (no info on reverse etc), but he served in Germany in the early 50's, so I assume that's where it was taken if that helps! Would love to know what it is and maybe if a kit is available, have a go at modeling it. Cheers Gary
cuprar
Looks like an old scammell to me, maybe a explorer?

John
That's an interestingly old-fashioned Union Flag on the front. John

Yes Austin K5 ,3ton 4x4, Austins equivalent to Bedfords QL, sometimes known in service as the "Screamer" due to the noise made by the Transfer Gearbox. There was a resin kit availible from Sovereign in 1/35 , but it wouldn't be too hard to scratch build useing a QL chassis as the cab consists of all flat panels. avro683
I may be wrong but isn't the ambulance in the Emergency set on a K5 chassis? Tony
