75 sqn Wellington colour question

Recommended Posts

Here is an interesting piece of video from the 'CriticalPast' website - a very interesting repository in itself - showing a 75 Sqn Wellington. Notable is the small indivdual aircraft code W.

I’m thinking by far the closest match on the roundel is yellow but a dark shade of medium sea grey or (most likely) red would fit in best with accepted wisdom.

What do you think?

The serial may well be T2474 which is known to have served with 75. I like the weathering on the nacelles too.

Thanks to Robert Hagger for showing me this.
