Radpoe Spitfire
There is a well known photo of the Spitfire " Manchester Civil Defender " operated by 616 Sqn in 1941, below the Stbd cockpit showing the aircraft name & city coat of arms. I assume the name was painted on in either sky or yellow- can anyone confirm which colour please, but I need a colour illustration of the coat of arms if anyone can help please. Many thanks Rad. Edgar
The instructions were that the lettering should always be Sea Grey Medium, and not above 2" in height. Can't help with the badge, but the City of Manchester coat of arms must be readily accessible. Edgar
