Jens
My first Wildcat/Martlet is this one. Built from the Tamiya kit it has been modified to represent a Martlet V. All I did was eliminating the outer wing guns and the various panels and bulges related to the outer guns. Upper surfaces colours are MM enamels while the underside Sky is Xtracolor. Decals fra from Aeromaster, and as you can see the yellow is a bit transluscent (so was the white but I corrected this with white paint). Next step will be to try out Phil's weathering stuff and then to give it a flat coat. Regards, Edited November 19, 2009 by Jens
Col.
This one looks to be going well Jens. You must have quite an FAA collection there?
Jens
Thanks. Well yes, considering I have gone from none to three FAA aircraft in a very short time one can claim that I now have an FAA collection. Regards,

Regards, Nice looking F4F/Martlet there, Jens. Striking with the stripes. I've always fancied the Wildcat, but havent gotten one, except the old Monogram kit from ages back. But Im having a piddle of bad time just getting through my P-40.
