JohnT
Why not 1/48 as well!!!!!!!John John - your post is not quite right - it should read:- Why the B****Y H**L not 1/48 then? all the other sheets have a 1/48 so maybe its just a matter of time? (Better be or the Palermo Branch of the office will be round to convince them he mutters) Edited June 24, 2011 by JohnT

TheModeller
Wellall i can say is the final f3 paint is wrong!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (@~:{}>?ats! ... these people are meant to be ACCURATE!!!! Ummm, nobodys perfect, and in the years I've been buying Xtradecals they seem to have a reasonable record of getting it as accurate as they can. who owns xtradecal... i want to contact them!! Hannants own brand, so you want to contact David Hannant, if you have information to share I'm sure he'd listen, not sure if much can be done about it now if the artworks already done but they've included correction sheets in the past when new info has become available. Maybe in time for the inevitable 1/48th sheet, though personally I'd be happy with one less F.3 and a Hunter F.6 in standard (not Black Arrows) squadron colours. Love to see the Spitfire Mk.IX scaled up for the Tamiya kit too, always wanted a nice wartime 111 Sqn Spit on the shelf.

Cheers neil Understandable given the personal association with the subject, all the same, as we all know, they do try to get things right with the Xtradecal line, and if you can help them improve this sheet then I'd call that a positive result. Dave Fleming
The Nieuport is also wrong - B3592 was an Nie23bis rather than a 24bis, different wing (The wing of the 17/23). Bit like making a Spit Va with a Vb wing! I'll buy it anyway, for those markings alone!! Edited June 24, 2011 by Dave Fleming
