robvulcan
Hahahahaha - very well done that man!!!! :clap2: :clap2: hahaha well you did threatan me with sending the boys around, was a pleasure to do it. and a strange coincidence happened, when i went outside to take photos it was gloomy, and when i put my model of 558 on the table the sun came out, that seems to happen at airshows it rains then the sun comes out for the vulcan, thats happened at kemble, riat, waddigton, before now, lol
Hypnobear
This collection makes me realise two things; firstly, youve got a really nice collection of Vulcans there , and secondly, I need to get at least one more Vulcan as I like that White scheme with the clear markings like your second one Edited June 24, 2011 by Hypnobear

trpsarge
Very impressive...suppose it could be worse..at least they're 72nd scale......you don't want to upsize when your fetish is something as big as a Vulcan

robvulcan
ahh, i see, apparently with photobucket you get a 25gb a month, so as people view download etc the pictures it uses up this amount, and resets each month, with there being 115 or so photos and over a 1000 views in the past 30 odd hours i guess its possible all those views and any downloads has used up my monthly amount so i guess it will reset its self soon, in the mean time i will look for a better way to share my photos with you guys. my appologies for this post being wrecked by photobucket, maybe i should replace the letter b to a letter f in the name photo!bucket. grr

Beardylong
Well Rob, you clearly are the Vulcan Meister! Many thanks for all your photos & tips on your various builds, which I've used throughout my current Vulcan build. I've got an old Airfix boxing (pre VTTS) which has been entertaining - terrible wing joint gaps and more flash than Gordon. However, I've persevered with a full wrap around camo XH558 and am just doing the decalling. The instructions were truly awful (old style fuzzy images) and I was left with very little clue as to where the decals went. All my Vulcan ref books (numerous) have been well thumbed but often the angle/zoom/lighting in real life doesn't help position them. Your numerous pics have given me the perfect blueprint so many thanks! Learnt loads on this build - first airbrush camo, first resin (Freightdog tail pipes), first scratch mods (sprue ribs to support the wafer thin bomb bay doors - came up with the same solution as you before I discovered your build thread!), first rescribing of panel lines etc. I'll do my first RFI posting when she's finished. BTW, do they have a statue to you up at Doncaster?! BTW2, why did you opt for gear up on all of them? BTW3, where the hell do you store them all?! Thanks again, Cheers, Andrew
