SaintsPhil
Morning all, I always struggle to mix colours for some reason, maybe I don't have an artistic brain! My real nemesis is getting a colour match for harnesses on Ejector seats. I have an old set of airwaves painting instructions that reference tarnished brass as a good match, but I can't find that in acrlyic anywhere. Anyone suggest an out the bottle mix, not too fussy about brand but prefer acrylic. Any help much appreciated! Phil

Phil I wouldn't worry too much about it as the strap color not only varies from seat to seat but they also get dirty as well.I normally use a light tan with a dash of gold in it or bronze green depending on the seat..The leg straps as well are usually a light blue. SaintsPhil
Thanks! It's the base colour I was struggling with. I don't know why it's the little things that I get hooked on! Now I can finish my bang seats for the tornado STGB! Phil

Muzz
Phil I was just thinking that same thing this afternoon, went out and bought some Tamiya Khaki to give that a go. I used a Citadel yellow on my last build, which looked ok, can't remember the exact shade at the moment. Muzz
