Phartycr0c Posted June 12, 2011 Posted June 12, 2011 (edited) What can I say? as we all now know Cosford was pretty much a washout. Superb work however by the organisers and more importantly the Pilots who despite heavy rain / low cloud, got airborne to provide at least something. Anyhow after arriving early at Cosford, in sunshine, come 8.00 it started raining so after a short deliberation, i decided to "pop" to Shawbury to see if there was any action. It was Hooning it down and I ended up wetter than a mermaids purse. The reds however, minus 1 due to going tech on the runway at Shawbury, did go for a play to Welshpool for a fly past then returned to provide a 10 minute flat basic display over the airfield. On return the aircraft landed right on the threshold of the runway to make the most of the limited wet runway length, so much so they wer almost on the grass! I actually managed a load of shots but here's three for delectation. Edited June 12, 2011 by Phartycr0c
