Brilliant work, Marek! Always nice to see a well-done VVS aeroplane. What paints did you use? Did you have much trouble with the build - I don't normally do 1/48th scale (I became too much of a collector and not a builder in this particular scale), but I might make an exception for an La-5FN. It would look nice next to my Accurate Miniatures IL-2 swept-winged two-seater, whenever I get around to building it. (Oh and Den, you should be working on your Yak-3 and not wasting time posting. :) ) Oops - never mind about the info, Marek, I just saw you have a link to your WIP - I'll have a look at that to get my questions answered.

Regards,

Jason

thanks gentlemen for the nice opinions :)

Learstang- I didn't have much trouble making the model; I also plan to make Yak - 3 ;)

You're welcome, Marek! The praise is well-deserved. I look forward to your Yak-3. I read your WIP and it sounded like you didn't have much trouble with the kit. Oh well, another kit to put on my to buy list!

Regards,

Jason

Spoken like a true modeller, Marek! I always intend them to be buy and make, but more often than not they turn out to be buy and collect. By the way, I'd also like to do (in 1/72nd scale, my preferred scale) the aeroplane in the background of your photo - an An-26/30/32, etc.

Regards,

Jason
