I'm currently building a 1/48 Airfix Brick and have a wee question about the upper wing vortex generators, did the dirty streaks from these flow back in line with the airflow (ie straight back) or did they angle inwards as the vortex generators do?

Can't find any clear photo's, although I've a feeling they angle inwards.

Thanks Julien, yes that's exactly what I'm looking for, the same photo's in the link Ian put up, never seen it before, don't see many of the medium sea grey Buccs. I'm doing a grey/green aircraft but this pictures perfect for showing up all the well worn areas.

Julien

A beautiful shot, one question.

Has anyone got any close up pictures of the wingfold hinges on the upper wing with the panels removed.

The picture shows the forwrd wingfold hinge plates removed.

Cheers

XV, can't post any picks but it's just a big f*#k off (for want of a better expression!) hinge, you can just see on in the photo hon the starboard wing with the female parts on the main wing and male part coming from the fuselage side. There's close up picks of the hinges on an aircraft with wings folded in The Aviation Workshops Spotlight publication, sorry can't post any pics.
