richellis
Thai international “Retro” Boeing 747-4D7 decal 1:144 decals from Two Six. For their 50th anniversary in 2010, Thai Airways painted one of their 747s in a retro livery. Thai Interational was formed in 1960, and is now the flag carrier of Thailand, there headquarters are in Bangkok and Thai international has a mixed fleet of short and long haul aircraft. The Boeing 747 Jumbo on this sheet is one of 18 747s currently, (May 2011) in the Thai long haul fleet. The Boeing 747 is better known as the Jumbo Jet, and is a 4 engine double deck airliner that is recognised by its humped top deck. These decals are recommended for the Revell 747-400 in 1:144, and is also available in 1:200 scale. The decals come over 2 sheets, with the first having the window, door and airframe stencils on, the second with the livery. The colours are nice and deep and looking at photos on the net the colours look good. The instructions are colour drawings, with all decals numbered so easy to use and follow. Conclusion I will admit I like retro liveries. This is another quality sheet from Two Six of a one-off paint scheme applied to an airliner.
