well, on the back of a low-loader anyway. It was near the Chertsey exit so I wonder if has been at ATDU for some trials - maybe it's still in the FRES competition?

Sorry no photo as I was driving...

Sorry about the acroynyms...lol

VBCI - not completely sure but Vehicule Blinde...... Infanterie? (not sure about the 'C')

ATDU - Armoured Trials and Development Unit

FRES - Future Rapid Effects System

M25 - London's outer car park area (lol)

And yes I was in the Army (ex-Reme), but I left in '87

well it clears it up a little more! :)

love FRES though, it still sounds like something the military love to put in documents. It's essentially coporate jargon for a machine that drives around with passengers and shoots stuff. Just teasing really. I tried reading a training manual from my sister's unit (Royal Signals) and lost the will to live after the first two pages. :P

Bet it was impressive to see it on a lowloader though, the VBCI that is.

Being from the 'Province' I am only on the M25 occasionally, maybe about 30 times in the last 20 years and.....Wait for it.....Wait for it....

Ive NEVER been caught in a jam

I think its a great road, it gets me from the M1 to the M20 Tout sweet......Mageek and those Thurrock services (our most visited English Tourist Attraction) WOW!!!

Commiserations to you who use it every day
