Supermarine Spitfire LF Mk XVIe

I don't often build prop kits as Daisy Cat likes a nibble at the odd prop blade or two,but this was on offer at my local hobby shop for £7.00 so I snapped it up!(Especially as the were three paints with it which made the kit less than £3.00!!)

It's a nice little jit,no flash & plenty of extra bits,enough in fact to build two kits if you had a second set of airframe halfs!. It went together very well,no filler was needed & the only problem area is the fit of the cockpit as the is no location tabs for the bulkhead for the cockpit assembly.

I'm modling the black one belonging to AOC No.1 Gp,RAF Swinderby 1945,simply because I did my basic training at Swinderby & the place holds a lot of memories for me,some good..some bad.

Doubt you'll ever get a new kit from a shop for less...a real bargain.
