Ham
This boxing is the Tamiya kit, the same sprues as the previous boxing as 60751. It is an excellent kit that goes together just like one would expect from Tamiya. Decals are different from the earlier release and it now includes a pilot figure and boxing is 60778. Tamiya does have some arrangements with Italeri to rebox some of their kits for the Japanese market and I have seen these turn up on eBay. Here is an example of the Italeri Fw 190D in Tamiya boxing. Clicky cheers! Edited April 30, 2011 by Ham
MDriskill
As Ham said, that is an honest-to-goodness Tamiya mold. Nice kit and easy to build. IMHO the most accurate kit in 1/72 is Hasegawa though, and by a considerable margin. These kits have been around since the early 90's, and are not state-of-the-art with regard to interior detail--cockpit and wheel wells especially. But the shape is near-perfect, the molding and panel detailing are super crisp, the canopies are exquisitely thin, and it builds like a dream. Here's a couple I built a few years back. The Hobby Boss kit also isn't bad, in fact I believe it's basically a Tamiya copy. All I did to this one is tone down the over-enthusiastic cowl flaps and over-wide prop blades; stick a few bits of plastic sheet detail and seat belts in the cockpit; and steal a Hasegawa canopy.
