As a result of the close-down of the UK by the British Government last night, we have made all the Buy/Sell areas read-only until we open back up again, so please have a look at the announcement linked here.

1/32nd Revell Hawk T1

Recommended Posts

Been making slow progress on this one and I'll never finish in 6 days. :(

I've made the normal mistake of getting too deep into the kit and started to get bogged down correcting bits and trying to do a good job on all stages of the build.

All I've done this week is make a new set of mouse ears for the intakes behind the cockpit and also trying to ripple the skin above the intake tunnel.

I'll continue to post progress (if any) until the GB ends.

Shaun.

Here are a couple of progress pics-

Here are the new mouse ears, the Revell kits items are not very accurate in shape!

A common sight on Hawk fuselages are the ripples that appear above the intake tunnel. I've tried to reproduce these on my build.

Only a small up date, but we are moving forwards.

Hi Shaun,

Sorry, I'm late to the party as usual.

Great work on your Hawk. The modifications you're doing really improve the look of the model. Keep it up, you're doing splendidly.

^_^

Cheers, thanks for the support.

I'm thinking of reposting this build on the main "in progress" thread, cause its not going to be finished before the closing date for the group build.

Shaun.
