AngstROM
Mine seems to be regular styrene! Just caught up with this topic; a very nice build indeed, and beautiful markings -anyone tell me what decals were used? TIA!
tonyot
Stunning,......a bit better than the old Airfix kit eh? Cheers Tony
Rob 1
Very nice, a great aircraft well finished. Just need to knock up a nice little 1:72 scale CV-62 to sit her on now to complete the dio . Edited September 23, 2016 by Rob
Mark4700
Wow a post risen from the depths of 2007. Excellent finish, but the folded wings and fin do spoil the lines.
Vultures1
It is a beauty ... but I do agree that the folded tail detracts a little from the classic Vigilante lines. Great build though!!

Cheers Tony I will admit to having a soft spot of the "old Airfix kit" as it was the first model kit my father and I built together back in the day. I've got another example in the cupboard to build in the future when I'm in the mood for a trip down modelling memory lane.

Ms Modeller
I went through a stage of being obsessed with this aircraft (no idea why). You really did a superb job here though - congrats!! Fabulous build for an awesome aircraft.

Microscale 72-093. A bit thin on the ground, but eBay (the .com one, don't bother with the .uk site!) shows a couple of sheets in Canada...happy hunting!
SoftScience
As others have already said, the weathering looks great. Love all the folded up bits too.
DennisTheBear
WOW! That is the first time I've ever seen a Vigilante with its tail folded, either a model or a real one. Does look decidedly odd that way, but a great looking model!! DennisTheBear
modelglue
It's funny how much modelling imitates real life. In my case (harhar) I won't have enough room to display all my models, and just like on a carrier I just may have to fold some wings etc to make them all fit snugly. Cheers to you for the excellent work, I do wish that someone would do an A-5 as well.
