TimJ Posted April 17, 2011 Share Posted April 17, 2011 I'll be building this. It comes wth Egyptian or Finnish markings, although I do have some Iraqi markings I might use instead. I have started it (quite a few years ago) but all I've done is assemble the nose and paint the cockpit interior. It should be a fairly quick build, but I've said that before. A note about the finnish markings: Finland never used the MiG-21 MF but only the earlier F and the later bis. Don't know why matchbox added these in the box. TimJ Posted April 18, 2011 Author Share Posted April 18, 2011 Thanks for the info on the Finnish MiGs Giorgio. I made a start on it yesterday and after a couple of hours it looked like this. The canopy is only placed on at the moment as the pilot isn't on board yet. It'll need some filler at the wing roots and arond the nose but it's coming together well so far.
