MiG-15Bis R used during the Korean war?

I'm considering buying the Ciro conversion for a MiG-15Bis R (For tamiya's kit).

The colour options seems to be quite limited with this aircraft, and I was wondering if it had been used during the Korean war?

Any idea?

I Got to get the lattest Yefim Gordon book, but I'm not sure it wil give answers.
