c.smith10
Having seen horza's F-18 build i quite like the look of the dry transfers he has used, my question is where could i get some custom made and how easy are they to use over uneven surfaces? cheers
mollythedog
Colour Imaging Services down in Sussex used to print them-I don't know if they are still in this field. I can dig out their number if you are interested, they had no website that I was aware of. You would have to provide your own artwork (in itself a whole other subject, with colour layers and costs per colour/layer). This isn't,unfortunately, the cheap option to waterslides (though how I wish it were). The artwork has to be processed by a third party,to make a neg/s There is no comparison,in my humble opinion, between the 2,rub downs snuggle into almost any curve/shape,it's the carrier film that is key. No solutions, varnishes before, they are matt, can be applied to almost any surface etc etc. Downsides? You get one go. They are,by comparison, expensive. They were used by the profs, which says it all, though I don't know what has replaced them,if anything. I too would like to know who can make them now. Sorry I can't be more use. cheers mtd
