iang Posted March 9, 2011 Posted March 9, 2011 I need some advice please. Is the Tamiya Jeep kit better than the Italeri offering, or is there another alternative? Do either benefit from PE? I want one to tow a 1945 1/32 Corsair IV, so tow hooks etc would be an advantage. I've no idea about serials as the Jeeps in question were embarked on HMS Formidable (either at Leyte or Sydney) after the destruction of the RN tow tractors in the KK attack of 9.5.45. Thanks. IG
daz greenwood Posted March 9, 2011 Posted March 9, 2011 The new tool Tamiya Jeep is considered to be the best. I've built two, and I loved it. I didn't like the Italeri a great deal.
ChrisITA Posted March 9, 2011 Posted March 9, 2011 The New Tamiya one (Willys Jeep, not the LRDG Jeep) is the dogs doodads and is one of the nicest kits I've ver built I guarantee enjoyment with that one
