Can anybody identify this aircraft?

Long ago, before the Berlin wall fell, I used to trade models, and one day I got this aircraft in a polythene bag marked RB.17 or KB.19 (ink has smudged). Google yields nothing.

Can anybody tell me what it is? The wingspan is 115mm which equates to 8.28m (27 ft 2 inches). The position of the ailerons shows that the main casting has its nose to the left.

I am guessing it is pre-war, though it could be a post war design. Could it be an early canard type?

Sorry for the quality of picture but the camera has flat batteries so I have used my phone.

It's a small Russian canard UT---The name has slipped my memory for the moment.

I thought that at first but it doesn't look correct to be the Mig-8 Utka. Wrong cockpit, wrong front canard, no swept main wing etc.

Is there any sign of it's propulsion eg. rocket, propellor etc.?

It's hard to tell from the photo, it looks a lot like the MiG-8. It could just be a badly shaped model ( god knows there are enough of them out there! ).

It could also be a Focke-Wulf F 19 ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Focke-Wulf_F_19 ) but it'd also be a badly shaped model. Though that could fit in with the writing on the bag ( well, kinda... )

It has a small two bladed propellor, but I see no indication as to whether is is a pusher or puller.

I have stuck the model together with blu tack and using drawing software, "fitted " the canopy. perhaps this will help identify it.

If I am right, then the small two bladed prop goes at the front of the plane.

Interesting. Looks kind of 'Luftwaffe '46' to me!

I'm with Will on this one. Might be worth browsing Lonewulfe Model's website for some clues?
