AnonymousDFB1
Thanks Deon, Started the evening with a bit of a disaster, some Klear/Future had pooled on the underside and stuck the model to the bench. On lifting it I lost some paint So a repair was quickly applied At this stage I put her 'legs' on Engine in Second disaster of the evening The decals are shot... I have put some decal film on the remaining ones in the hope that I can rescue them, I also have a spare for the damaged decal. If this plan fails Lloyd (llking) has some AM decals he can send me, thanks Lloyd.
AnonymousDFB1
The decal film failed, so I'm now awaiting a set coming from Lloyd (llking) in the US

Mike
Disaster recovery... quite satisfying, isn't it? Much better and more constructive than hurling it at a wall in a temper

Tedfellows
Hi Mish, Its not just your decals that are shot. I built one of these during the olympics a few years back and mine did excactly the same. So i'd try and buy aftermarket, as i fear that all old decal sheets will do the same! HTH's Adam

jynski
I've got one of these that I need to build one day. It is one of a handful of kits left over after my divorce in '96. That's a story I need to tell to other understanding modelers over a couple of pints I'm thinking of getting the Aires detail set for it if I can get one for a good price.
