AnonymousAA72 Posted March 6, 2011 Share Posted March 6, 2011 I'm in the process of building my Hobbyboss Tornado F3 and am at the point where I need to consider stores. She's going to be fairly clean (oo-er Mrs!) , with just the underwing and missile pylons. Question is regarding BOL rails, I've borrowed a pair from Hasegawa's Harrier GR7 kit, and these are quite long, in fact they are considerable longer than the 'winder/ASRAAM pylons of the HB kit. Anyone (Spike?) have any details on the Tornado BOL rails? Dimensions would be handy. Assuming that all 'winders are the same length I would have thought that 'winder pylons would all be of a similar length too? So would BOL rails be the same? Afraid I have no details as to length but I can ask Bilvers on FB,who's a SNEC bombhead still in. Bomb'ed Posted March 7, 2011 Share Posted March 7, 2011 Thanks Merv., very helpful as ever.... The BOL-304's are slightly(not by much) longer than the standard LAU-7A. As they fit on the same stub pylon the location points on the BOL are exactly the same as for the LAU-7A. However the BOl launchers from the GR9 kit do differ on GR4/F-3 The gas bottle on the front (NAGB) has a kink init for Tornado, If you google F-3 you'll see it.
