AdriaN (MLT)
Been painting and building models this way for some time, only way ive ever tried, never had the chance to get an airbrush, been thinking about it though. As for the finish yeah does look a bit dotty, rather ashamed of that, wanted a perfect finish, but ah well. I had to use a rattle can to varnish as i figured a brush coat would just leave brush marks, i think thats honestly the one thing i would get an airbrush for would be to varnish better, that and to do better preshading and perhaps some post shading as both of those are rather tricky with a brush. I understand. i painted with brush for around 10 yrs. i got an AB 2 years ago. Its very hard, with a brush, to get a perfect finish with gloss. With matt varnish its not difficult. Just give it 2 layers. Use a 'clear' matt varnish, not some if these 'mikly white' matt varnishes
