davidelvy
I like that a lot. There has been some controversy about the scheme you have chosen. Some say photographs show a definite demarcation which proves it was finished in a two colour scheme. Others say that what is observed is the effect of shadow. For my part I really cannot make my mind up, but what I can say is that the two colour scheme is both interesting and attractive.

Test Graham
Sorry, no Martlets on Malta, but there was a squadron on HMS Indomitable during the Pedestal convoy, so that would do. I forget which, but a quick Google should help. Plus F4Fs on the USS Wasp during Operations Calendar and Bowery, but they never got really close. Seahawk
there was a squadron on HMS Indomitable during the Pedestal convoy, so that would do. I forget which, but a quick Google should help. "A" Flight of 806 Sq with Martlet IIs, including AM997. From "Squadrons of the FAA", not Google! Nice model, BTW: picked up a cheap Quickboost F4F-3 non-folding wing at the weekend to do an ex-Greek Martlet of my own.
stevehnz
Maybe useful for Operation pedestal markings. No longer available ffrom modelimex but the artwork is still up on the site & it might be possible to track one down if you want it. Steve.
