Are they cargo doors, or is it a sunroof??? those are hatches for retractable turrets (B-36 has six of them 2 per hatch)
aerotechi
Lovely aircraft. I was looking at the revell 1:72 version on eBay the other day till it got a little expensive. But you’ve done an excellent job.
Blue Monday
Very nice Overcast. I have ambitions to build a B-36 at some point. 1/144 seems the only sensible option! BM.
Gary Brantley
Impressive and beautiful model of a very impressive aircraft! Just superb sir! They are enormous birds; I sat in the pilot's chair of the last one built, "The City of Ft. Worth", when I was 11 or 12 years old. Incredible machine. 🙂
Bejay53
I hope to be starting Rodin 1/144 B-36B once I finish the project I have on my bench. Time for something largish. I need a new display case.
Deanflyer
Blimey, talk about Lazarus! Don't think I've had a thread over ten years old resurrected before... Thanks for the continued interest, Dean
