Flaps look good Mark - just plucking up courage to cut mine out...

I'm going to have to get that decal sheet :)

Iain

Iain cut the lines on the insides of the wing out, then on the bottom one cut the upper section off, there is a demarkation line, i used that bit of a template for the white inner flap, check the refs for the lenght

Nice start Mark. I can't really tell from your photo - as the flap is all red BUT it should be aerofoil in section. By sticking the kits upper and lower parts together you will have a step - the lower part being larger than the upper part. I used plastic card to fill mine, and sanded that down. The Upper shorted span section is also aerofoil in section though thinner.

(I looked at your photo's on here!!!)

Did you shorten the chord of the lower section - to the same as the upper section, rather than extend the upper section to that of the lower section?

Have alook at Iain's flaps (oo-er Mrs!) to see what I mean - he's extended his with plastic card

I now have the main flaps done - I may try making some moulds (good practice for the Lightnings ;) ). Just scratching head on beast material for the slot blade...
