silverburn
Ok, my pre-order is in for one of these babies, from the Sprue brothers stateside...sorry Hannants - you weren't offering the pre-order, so.... Going for the gunship edition. Consider this topic a place-holder and discussion thread until it arrives. I'll probably do it totally OOB for your benefits, so you can see what's involved. Shar2
Cool! I've also pre-ordered a gunship version so it'll be good to see how you get on.
robw_uk
"whats involved" - does that include building an extension to house this - do you have the dimensions of it when assembled?

It should be ok, I've got a hanging wall for all my 1:32 stuff, and there' plenty room yet, even for one of these. What will be interesting is the B17 when that comes out...I really might struggle with finding a space for that!
Julien
"whats involved" - does that include building an extension to house this - do you have the dimensions of it when assembled? Wiki gives the dimensions as; Length: 52 ft 11 in (16.1 m) Wingspan: 67 ft 6 in (20.6 m) So in 1.32 scale gives a 65cm wingspan, 50cms long. There are bigger 1.48 kits out there, must admit not as big as one might think. Roughly the same foot print as a 1.32 F-4E Julien
