well im having a break from hawks for a liittle but i have this and the next iron man then back to my 93 hawks (the number keeps increasing!) anyway i go this kit in a nice deal on here and well is a lovely build

well thanks for all those up to now that have helped with my questions

anyway

the kit - tamiya F-16cj (1/48)

Decals - afterburner '52nd fighter wing viper history' AD 48-024

eduard masks

possibly weapons from the Hass weapons kit

he intake - pain the bum but i got there

the tail can be removed for storage or transport

Wow thats coming together fast Mark. I be watching i have a love for F-16, even though i sold my last unmade F-16 to you :).

its the one you sold me!! ive added the decals and masks and jdam's (i may not use those) im having fun with it somthing different

If you need anything for it i have some weapons from the kinetic viper that i am not gonna use, if you want something let me know Mark.

todays update

little man and seat done

a few bits have been done on the airframe and tail ready to paint

burner can done

control pannel done

main gear finished - thats going to be a pain to mask

Looks great, how did you do the intake? What little things should I look out for during the build? I've got the Aggressor on the bench currently, it seems that you build much quicker than I do! Keep posting your progress.

intakes join the lenghts first, the do the seams as normal then spray white the long ones are pain i usec white miliput on ia sweker to get in place then a long skewer with sand paper glued ot it athen re sprayed all with halfords rattle cans

ok paint on!

now during the process i had a bit of a panic to say the least, but its was resolved by using a hairdryer, micromesh and repaint, im not completely sold with tamiya paint but it looks ok
