davidsm 4
Hello just wondering as to which kits are best in both 1/72 and 1/48? Preferably Longbow ones. Just fancy a bit of a change as i've not build that many helicopters. cheers David
Andy K 60
I'd have to say Hasegawa for both scales although you might have to sell a kidney to afford one these days
hatchet 5
In 72nd there isn't a proper Longbow available. Those that are available are either As with a radar or the prototype. Both need a lot of work to become a D. For A-models, Hasegawa is probably best, but Academy isn't far behind - and Acad's Hellfire-launchers look better'n Hase's
davidsm 4
is this one no good then? http://www.hannants.co.uk/product/RV4420 David
Dave Fleming 2,299
is this one no good then? http://www.hannants.co.uk/product/RV4420David It's OK - it;s the older Monogram kit with an additional sprue for the WAH-64 bits. A decent, accurate AH-64D in 1/72 is long overdue (Italeri is probably the best in terms of accuracy)
4scourge7 269
Second the Italeri Longbow for 72nd, but it`s still a ways off. Here`s some of the alterations needed on the way to a WAH-64D Apache. HTH Cheers, Ian Edited January 11, 2011 by ian buick
