Col.
Don't know if anyone has seen this but given the popularity of Israeli AF subjects though it might be worth sharing. IAF F-21/C-7 Kfir complete conversion for the Revell Mirage III Initial reaction was, "How much!?!" but then tempered by the usual, "Oh, look at all that resin, nice decal sheet..." etc. Knowing my luck dare say I'd buy one and get started in time for Trumpeter to announce their new-mould kit. magwitch
June 2007: 9 Israeli Shekel = 1 British Pound January 2011: 5.5 Israeli Shekel = 1 British Pound Until the British Peso has a reversal of fortunes on the international currency markets all imported stuff from small manufacturers is going to contine to get very expensive. Julien
First reaction was its a lot but there is a lot of stuff there; • 95 Resin parts. • Photo-etch detailed parts. • White metal landing gear. • Turned brass pitot tube. • Decals for all stencils and markings. So £134.50 not to bad. Even if you ordered direct its $149 which at the curretn rate is £95 + 20% vat + £8 handling (if the PO get you) = £122 so in reality not that much difference. As said a lot of this has to do with the UK £ Julien
Smiffy
I've had the C-7 conversion on my watch list at Hannants for a while. Got the the message that it was in stock. Gulp...that's a lotta money. Will probably still get it (eventually) though.
