I have a Decal sheet (modeldecal No 57) which shows an aircraft from 800NAS in the overall EDSG scheme on the tail it has a red"flash" which goes through the letter "E" I was just wondering if this flash was used on the earlier scheme I have seen it on some S1's but not on S2's thanks Adam Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

lesliegl Posted January 5, 2011 Share Posted January 5, 2011 From what i can gather from pics from the period i have seen is that the red flash came about when the aircraft were painted overall EDSG ..another thing to consider about overall EDSG 800 sqn S2s was some of them didnt have the natural metal leading edges and were painted over in EDSG as per the Model decal sheet...the only Buccs to have this Leslie Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
