Azgaron
Well, my unfinished kits have been collecting over the years, and here are a few of them. All in 72nd or 76th scale. At some point, I couldn't afford Tamiyas Char bis, so I had to settle for Revells set with Renault tank and small dio. Then I found a (GMC I think) truck in a box, and a turret (Scorpion?). So now I have to search my boxes for the rest of the vehicle. I also have a Matador truck with gun (Airfix), laying about, and some more. Just have to find it! The Leopard, mostly done except decals and some weathering. The AMX, I had in mind, I'll try and do the 'basket' around the turret, but other than that, also needs decals and some weathering. The Warrior was a what-if project, but on second thought it's going back to being just an ordinary Warrior (boring huh?). T-80 with reactive armor, still have quite a lot of work left. As do my french tanks and the GMC truck. I spent some time, gluing most of the remaining parts to the Warrior. I think I need to paint the tracks and wheels, before assembling the rest. Talking about painting, I'm a little unsure of the colors. Revells instructions says africa brown Re17, and olive gray Re66. Is africa brown the same as mid stone? (it has no equivalent in Humbrol, according to IPMS Stockholm), and olive gray the same as olive drab Hu66? What are 'correct' colors for this vehicle? Azgaron
Yep, it sure is! While looking for my misplaced instructions for the Leopard, I found this. So now I can continue with the Scorpion as well! I mentioned for my gf about the missing instructions, and then she told me she had put a lot of paper in the top drawer of my desk. A place I usually don't use and hadn't looked in. Looks like I can get the decals on the Leopard after all! Cheers, Håkan
Azgaron
The Scorpion got some wheels and most details are now assembled. Left to do is hatches and some parts that should go on after upper and lower hull is assembled. Need to check if I got the neccessary color. I think I'll paint the sub assemblies first. The Leopard story continues. I bought the kit bagged, and with the kit was a ModelMaster color scheme, which I used as guide, when I painted. It now turns out that it doesn't fit with any of the versions suggested in the instructions. instead of repainting it, I think I'll just pick a set of decals, and pretend it's raining. The kit will be finished and I will be happy! Cheers, Håkan

Azgaron
I joined the tracks by heating as per instructions, but the strain was too big, and one track broke. Not sure if the other track will hold though. Maybe I'll do a small dio with a tank with broken track. Meanwhile I continue with the other ones. Azgaron
Got all the decals on the Leopard yesterday. All decals except one went on nice and smoothly. One cote of Johnson will seal the decals before I start with weathering. Cheers, Håkan

Azgaron
Thanks Mish! Done a bit more, and I'll add a few kits. Pics coming soon. Cheers, Håkan
Azgaron
I found a few more kits to try and finish. Don't know if I will as time is short, but I'll add them anyway! If I don't get them done, I can save them for the next KUTA I started the weathering process with oil colors and turpentine. I also started painting details. I finished assembling the Matador by adding the wheels and exhaust to the underside and the roof to the cabin. Need to do some touch up before I start with decals and weathering.
