smuts Posted December 30, 2010 Posted December 30, 2010 Hi guys, anyone know if the Pz.35T is a new tooling from Tamiya? came across it this morning on Luckymodel or a rebox, if its new that came in under the radar no mention of one on the usual sites armorama or missing linx. Andy.
Baggers Posted December 30, 2010 Posted December 30, 2010 I assume you mean this one http://www.tamiyausa.com/product/item.php?product-id=25112 Tank parts are CMK.
smuts Posted December 30, 2010 Author Posted December 30, 2010 Hi, I assume you mean this onehttp://www.tamiyausa.com/product/item.php?product-id=25112 Tank parts are CMK. yep that's the one, anyone know how it builds like looks very nice too........must have one Andy.
alanmac Posted December 30, 2010 Posted December 30, 2010 Hi Considering from what I've seen the only "additions" Tamiya are putting inside the box is a figure and some items of stowage (jerrycans etc) you'd be much better off moneywise buying the CMK kit from Hannants for example. CMK's Panzer 35(t) Although out of stock at the moment at the time of writing this they've a couple of command versions available. Panzer 35(t)Command Version I doubt if the Tamiya one is going to be under £15 when it hits the UK do you ? Alan
alanmac Posted December 30, 2010 Posted December 30, 2010 (edited) Hi Me again. I have the CMK kit but not built it yet. It looks about the same quality as Italeri and I reckon will build up nicely. Replacement tracks are available from Fruil (I think) and ModelKasten. A model was featured in the July 2010 Issue 48 of Model Military International if you can find/borrow a copy. The kit is also marketed as a Skoda LTvz.35 which is what the one in the magazine is, in a much more colourful camo scheme. Hannants have five of these in stock at time of writing. Skoda LT vz. 35(t) I love the three colour version. Alan Edited December 30, 2010 by alanmac
alanmac Posted January 8, 2011 Posted January 8, 2011 I always think its polite and respectful to acknowledge someone's time and effort to contribute to a thread, especially by the poster of the thread in the first place. but maybe I've just been brought up in a different time, when manners and respectfulness mattered. Don't expect gushing appreciation but a simple "Thanks" doesn't take much time and ensures that the person offering up the knowledge feels its worthwhile helping out on another occasion. Especially when you see the thread originator has visited the site on several occasions since that time and managed to find the time to post in other threads Alan
smuts Posted January 9, 2011 Author Posted January 9, 2011 Hi Alan, sorry not to have responded to this thread quicker then I usually do been busy with 2 GB's & hosting the Nam GB (just started). Had an idea it might be a Japan only rebox, didn't think the CMK 35T's were still being produced...dam so I've got the Tamiya rebox on its way for 22 quid (not bad) on the other hand I've ordered the command tank from Hannants last week & thanks for pointing out the MMI issue with the build review I'll get that as a back order. Thanks Andy
