Graham Boak Posted July 25, 2016 Share Posted July 25, 2016 Given (yes?) that the Vampire's fuselage was in wood yet the wing and booms in metal, had it still been painted in primer there would be significant differences between these components. Clearly there isn't, therefore it has already been painted - as you would expect before the publicity photos were taken. The appearance of the two colours in the photographs is consistent with it being in MSG/Yellow, as expected from the AM orders on the subject.
