M4rk Posted December 26, 2010 Share Posted December 26, 2010 A year of few models, interrupted by finishing uni, moving to a new area and starting a new job but I'm happy with it overall. Now I'm a bit more settled down house-wise I hope to increase my production rate in 2011. Anyway first to be finished was an Airfix 1/48 Seafire FR.47 - recently annouced as being re-released in 2011. Great kit, although Aeromaster decals were needed to replace the dire kit items. Next was a Tamiya 1/48 Mosquito NF.XVII, made for the nightfighters group build. From the box with the Eduard Zoom etch set. Very enjoyable and one of the best looking aircraft ever made in my opinion, even with the bull nose! Then the final finished model was a Tamiya 1/48 P-51D Mustang, from the box with Aeromaster decals for the markings. I am currently finishing off the Army Staff Car to go with it, this being the recent boxing with the figures and car.
