I made a duo of models for 617 Sqn on behalf of Airfix in the old Humbrol days,...... a 1/48th Tornado and a 1/72nd Lanc on a black base with a perspex cover over the top,....... but I doubt that it has survived from the Lossiemouth days and is still with the unit now! I do wonder if it possible to see photos in an album of sorts, in numerical number, of Lancasters build by Squadron ??? DS620 first flew 19-02-43 from Sywell, Northants. KO-W of B Flight, 115 Squadron RAF East Wretham, June 1943, 1668 CU wrecked 24-10-44, 554 flying hours.
