Hi,

Heres a couple of mine

72nd scale Hasegawa. Mid upper turret from Hasegawa B24 moved forward.

For the unarmed turrets,what is the best way to deal with the empty slots where the guns would be? I haven't come across any clear photo's as to what they did on the real aircraft :hmmm:

I assumed some sort of covering and simply filled the slots with white glue! :)

Just added this on another post but this is my ID Models 1/32nd scale vacform Lancaster BIII. This is actually a model of my Great Uncle's machine, he was a W/Op with 156 Squadron based at RAF Upwood in 1943-44 and was lost on operations.

With the completion of the Lanc GB, it seems like a damn good time to update this thread as I know there are quite a few inspirational builds that can now be added !

Lancaster BII CMR conversion from the Revell kit...

First a Revell Lanc converted to a Manchester with Paragon conversion set.

I'll help breathe new life into this old thread! Here's my 1/72 Hasegawa Lanc from a few years ago. I used a ton of aftermarket goodies including Eduard PE cockpit and bomb bay details, and CMK resin wheel well, control surfaces, and flaps. Also corrected the canopy framework which had the escape hatch in the wrong place.
