ChocksAway
Houston, Thanks for reminding me about my own thread - time to update with some ancient history and then the latest in the collection. Harrier AV-8B II NA (Night Attack) with VMA-211 ... An EAV-8B II with the Spanish Navy, Escuadrilla 009 ... And in the same squadron, the EAV-8B II Plus ... An AV-8B II Plus with the now defunct VMA-513 "Flying Nightmares" ... And the last, an AV-8B II NA with VMA-203 "Hawks" in the new two greys HTPS scheme ... Col.
Only one from me alas. Airfix' 72nd scale kit allied to decals from the Aztec AZD7216 sheet. Great kit. Decals were okay at best. Once upon a time I had a good collection of my favourite aircraft but none survived a house fire. This one will hopefully be joined by plenty more in due course.
charlie_c67
Looks good peeps! Out of interest Graham, where did you get the stands from or are they your own design?
ChocksAway
Looks good peeps! Out of interest Graham, where did you get the stands from or are they your own design? They are just clear acrylic blocks and acrylic rod. I just drill a hole in the block and insert rod at the required angle. A dab of superglue adds a bit of security. You can get the blocks from various places, but I use Handy Hippo Crafts - they have aa range of sizes and shapes. The rod I get via fleabay suppliers, you can get various diameters to suit.

ChocksAway
Another couple to add to the collection ... though you might argue (5 minutes or the full half hour?) that the first one is a bit of a stretch to be called a Harrier? .... Hasegawa eggplane Harrier with a few bits from the Airfix P1127 1/72nd scale kit, representing XP831 during her carrier trials aboard HMS Ark Royal in February 1963. The VMA-231 commander's aircraft as seen during an operation in February 2013 whilst deployed on Operation Enduring Freedom. [Carrying GBU-32s]. Hasegawa, 1/48th scale kit.
