Hasegawa decals or .. how I learned

Forgive me good BM chums. I just need to unload.

Now normally I get on OK with Hasegawa decals -some Mr Mark Setter works well, and perhaps a gentle hint of Mr Mark softer. But tonight my J2M3 decals just DID NOT BEHAVE. wrinkling into scarred masses of cack.

Just unbeleivable.

I think I might have had a dodgy sheet ( model is about 5 years old - so decals are nursery age too). The yellow tail band actually broke up in the water - unheard of. The ones that have worked have gone down like the thinnest things you have ever seen - they are of course the under wing Hinomaru, and look perfect!!!

It is of course a classic case of the Gods "rewarding" hubris - I was just a little too pleased with my paint chipping, so some peripetaiea was required from on high....

Thankyou - feel better now.

Hi Jonners,

Remember, what doesn't kill you makes you stronger. Or so i heard.

To take your mind off such unpleasantness, did ye see the pics of the new Airfix Spitfire XII?
