Nick Millman
Today a little bit of me wished that the sad Harrier farewell might include a live ordnance demonstration on certain prestigious addresses in London. And be followed up by a determined convoy of armoured vehicles demonstrating the use of HESH rounds against a particular building in Westminster that houses the largest concentration of spineless traitors, spongers and benefit frauds in the UK. Speckled Jim
Nick were all quite angry at this decision, however those 'live ordnances displays' go against everything that every solider, sailor or airman represents when they go into service, and that's to defend every citizen, asset and member of her majesties governance. And even though we we get angry at our Government we need to remember that we the people elected them, and if were unhappy we have no one else to blame than ourselves and if personally we are unhappy that all we need to do is run against them, or vote against their party, the ballot like the pen is mightier than the sword or the threat of any revolution. It is sad to see the Harrier go but she just wasn't a viable contender against the Tornado and Typhoon.

keefr22
And even though we we get angry at our Government we need to remember that we the people elected them, and if were unhappy we have no one else to blame than ourselves... Except that that is never really true - because not all 'the people', or usually even a majority of 'the people' have actually voted for the incumbent Government. And long will it remain thus whilst our antiquated 'first past the post' voting system remains. But I fear we're about to get slapped wrists for being 'political' again......
