Hi guys,

I've got the Hobbyboss 222 on the go & the instructions state the gun mount should be field grey but I Would have thought this would have been either the panzer buff colour of the fighting compartment or panzer grey to tie with the outer hull colour prior to being resprayed DaK tan.

Any idea's

I believe you are correct, I don't think "field grey" would have been used for any vehicular equipment at any time. I would expect a 222 would have its gun mount to be the same colour as the vehicle interior, although off the top of my head I'm not sure what colour that would be.
