Are we talking to each other on Braille Scale?

Either way, I have mine now and the set has two rather nice models, as indeed the CAD shots suggested. It'll be interesting to put them up against the earlier kit, the IBG kits and the Milicast. I expect the Airfix parts will look fairly heavy when directly against the IBG, which I found very fragile and excessively fiddly just to get off the sprue. That's shouldn't be too surprising, giving the Airfix approach, and that we are getting two kits for less than the price of one.

I hope to get some pieces off the runners today, and might have some additional comments to make, but certainly at the moment they look good.

I'm afraid Braille Scale isn't a forum I visit.

I'm still waiting for my Bedfords, no doubt they're held up somewhere in the postal system. How do the wheels hold up against the tanker in the Refueling Set?

I recommend Braille Scale, and say more on there (but it was a Jon...., sorry to both of you). Yes, the wheels are correct. Perhaps I shouldn't say that, hostages to fortune etc. but they are larger than the ones in the previous kit and are much the same as the Milicast ones and the IBG ones. Also you do get two complete kits and steering wheels in both. I've got most of the QLD together, and am happy. Yes, it is chunkier than the IBG kit.
